CHRISTINE WINBURN’S life has been filled with entertainment royalty of all kinds, both as a professional artist and as an Artist Manager.  Winburn’s talents in entertainment and entertainment management have earned performances in musical & theatrical TV appearances, radio/commercial jingles/movie soundtracks and musical stadium events.  She has artistically and professionally worked with Willie Nelson, Bonnie Raitt, Jen Aniston, Chris Botti, Billy Bob Thornton, Martina McBride, Wynonna Judd, Chris Stapleton, Chaz Bono, Sugarland, Paul Shaffer,  Buddy Miles, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Dennis Quaid, Michael Jackson, Anthony Newley, Ben Vereen, Savion Glover, Tom Hanks, Bob Margolin, Chuck Rainey among a host of others.  Winburn’s colorful & passionate life entertaining has included the triple threats of acting, dancing and singing.  For the past 25 years, she has been highly successful in the music business and Artist Management.  Warren Haynes (Allman Brothers & Gov’t Mule) invited Christine to the House Of Blues Dallas for her production of “Old Friend,” released by Warren Haynes & Derek Trucks. Chet Himes, Warner Brothers Grammy winning engineer, stated “Christine is a rare and unique vocalist.”  Stephen Bruton (Bonnie Raitt, Kris Kristofferson) was to work with Winburn also before his untimely passing.  Recently, the historic Fort Worth Stockyard rodeo has played her Texas swing number she co-wrote with Kenny Shaw, “Queen Of The Rodeo,” as a theme song to thousands of fans year after year.  Milo Deering, of the Eagles rock band and multi-instrumentalist, produced and arranged this beauty with Winburn.  Ronnie Sarig, Rolling Stone Magazine and Creative Loafing newspaper in Atlanta, GA, states “amazing vocals with crafty catchy songwriting.” Winburn is also a National Anthem vocalist for the famed Texas Motor Speedway NASCAR,  Fort Worth Stockyard Cowtown, State of New York – Capital of Albany events and other stadium venues.  She has also performed during the Orange Bowl halftime show in Miami, FL.     

Born in Georgia and moved to Texas, Christine won the state pageant as “Baby Texas” at age 1 year old.  She began singing professionally at the age of 5, with an R&B/Blues band at the US Army base and also with her mother on piano and 5 siblings around Texas. Her single mother, a pianist/vocalist and dance showgirl in the 1960’s, lived the artistic life as a NYC entertainment employee of Disney Corp.  Her mother’s dream and Christine’s success are what gave them the inspiration to continue on in NYC’s toughest Spanish Harlem neighborhood, where they lived for 15 years. Ultimately, Christine began booking Off Broadway and national musical tours, like  “Annie,” “The Chosen,” “Beauty And The Best,” “Stop The World I Want To Get Off,” “The Music Man,” “Oliver,” “Radio City’s Christmas Spectacular.”  Christine’s musical theatre talents gained her EQUITY/SAG/AFTRA status where she was cast in Broadway investor projects that were potential Broadway shows in NYC.  With a brother on Broadway in “Les Miserable,” a sister opening up Planet Hollywood’s all over the world with Demi Moore and Bruce Willis and a mom working for Disney on Broadway, Christine says “these artistic highs working with celebrities and then the lows of the Spanish Harlem streets had such an opposite dynamic to live and breath in, that it gave me truth in my art beyond imagine.”  Christine went on to book many recurring national commercials, jingles and daytime TV shows like “Ryan’s Hope” and “Sesame Street.”  She was also performing every weekend with the BG Ramblers country bluegrass band.  Winburn was chosen specifically out of hundreds to star in Kenny Rogers’ documentary and flown to his Florida concert for a week of filming.  She was featured in a 3-part TV editorial on WCBS by 20 time Emmy Award winner Maury Alter called “Christine.”  This also won an Emmy Award.   

 As a dancer, Christine was chosen to represent the USA at the Tel Aviv, Israel Dance Olympics and dance with Michael Jackson at a private NYC event. She has danced with the best of them at Gregory Hines & Hatchett – Broadway Dance Center & Phil Black studios in NYC.  She was chosen out of thousands to attend the “FAME” High School of Performing Arts in NYC.  She was in Tom Hank’s movie “Big” and a lead vocalist for Steven King’s “Children Of The Corn” original movie soundtrack and “Children Of The Corn” II, III, IV.  CBS booked Christine exclusively to produce improvisational vocal tones over the “CBS Blues Specials.”  She says “those sessions were the most thrilling, as the emotion of the music came alive in the exact moment.”  Christine performed in NYC’s top jazz clubs for many years with her harmonizing sister, Julie Winburn.   Café Wah, Don’t Tell Mama, Kenny’s Castaways, Village Vanguard and many others in Greenwich Village, NYC.   She joined the band On Air and Aspirin Junkies performing all over NY state and recording multiple studio CD’s.  A trip to Nashville got her performing at the famed Giley’s Nashville and recording sessions for gospel music with her musical sister once again, Julie Winburn.  Christine was offered a songwriter deal with Curb Records Nashville at one time.

Christine earned the honor as “Best Lead Vocalist” in Atlanta, GA by Creative Loafing Entertainment Newspaper with her band Street Poets.   She also worked with the Tony Winston Mondo Swing Jazz band and recorded a CD.  She opened for Willie Nelson with her Americana band Dangerous Hearts in Austin, TX and perform hundreds of live performances at the state rodeos and TV shows, including The Nashville Star.  She filmed the Country Music Television (CMT) gospel music video “Lay It Down” and was featured on a national TV telethon for Children’s Miracle Network out of Austin, TX.  Christine booked Guitar Hero 5 game soundtrack as lead vocalist with Activision Los Angeles, CA, which led to Mantis Warfare game soundtrack, audio books, GPS animation and more musical voice over work.  She says “gaming soundtracks are multi-dimensional personas and an extension of the voice like no other. “  

A solo vocalist and entertainer in her own right, Winburn’s voice has been described as “soulful and exquisite,” “original blend of genres” and  “smooth style.”  And her stage presence can be “expressive” and “engaging”….Winburn knows how to get those professional vocal riffs out, but also understands how to sustain a clear concise note to thrill the listener….an entertainer in many ways who lives and breathes music. 

With a lifetime of entertainment, business savvy networking, PR, media and a deep knowledge of human beings, Winburn has evolved into a successful Artist Manager.  She has grown her artists to national levels.  She manages Dylan James “Boogie Boy” Shaw and Dangerous Hearts.  Dylan James “Boogie Boy” Shaw can be seen on CBS TV, FOX TV, Woodsongs Old Time Radio Hour in 177 countries, zooms with Chuck Leavell (The Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton, Allman Brothers) and Morris Hayes (Prince) among many others professional engagements throughout the country.  He has also been awarded national scholarships, honored in Washington DC, countless editorials and more.  Dangerous Hearts has also garnered much notoriety nationally, with similar accomplishments to date.
